In a chat given to the international media during the presentation of the new MCL35, car with which Daniel Ricciardo e Lando Norris they will face the next 2021 World Cup formula 1, Andreas Seidl spoke about the partnership between McLaren e Mercedes, highlighting how the "qualities" of German unity will help the team of Woking to return to the top step of the podium.

“Our goal has always been clear, right from the beginning,” said Andreas Seidl. “We wanted a winning power unit and Mercedes gave us this opportunity. We couldn't ask for anything better. We are convinced that this unity can bring us back to victory. We are convinced of this and can't wait to get on track."
