F1 | Massa: “Retirement? No regrets"

The Brazilian driver has definitively closed the chapter formula 1 and now he is ready to face a new life, without negative thoughts.

After fifteen years at the pinnacle of motorsport, with 269 grand prix contested, Felipe Massa he really said enough. There will be no second thoughts, as happened last year when he was contacted again by Williams to replace Valtteri Bottas.

A driver from times gone by, humble and considered by the entire paddock as "a good guy", Massa is sure he will have no regrets in the future:

Regarding the World Cup lost in 2008, he declared:

“What helped me overcome the disappointment was winning the last race. I'm proud of what I've achieved.".

Another difficult moment, perhaps the most difficult of his career was in 2009 with the accident at the Hungaroring:

“I think I haven't changed as a rider. What changed is that I respected life more than before. I mean, you always think it will never happen to you. But when you have a bad accident, there is a moment when you understand that life can change and you respect it more. I love my life now and respect others more than before.".
