F1 | Massa: “My career isn't over yet”
"I have several opportunities and I will decide calmly"
After his final farewell from the World Cup formula 1, the Brazilian driver declared that this does not mean the end of his long racing career.
Through the site Motorsport.com, Felipe Massa, released an article where he retraced the most salient moments of his last ad race Abu Dhabi:
“After the checkered flag I did something that is not allowed by the FIA regulations, but I am sure that after 15 years of Formula 1, I will be forgiven. After the lap of honor I drove the car to the starting line with the two Mercedes drivers and celebrated with a burnout. It was nice to receive greetings from Valtteri and Lewis but above all it was nice to say thank you to everyone who accompanied me on this long journey".
Massa also said he was lucky to have realized the dream he had since he was a child and for this reason, he is particularly keen to thank his family who has always been present, especially in the most difficult moments. Regarding his future, Felipe added that he has several options to evaluate but first he wants to give himself some well-deserved rest:
“Many have asked me what my plans are for the future but it's still too busy to give answers. I have several opportunities and I will decide calmly. The only certain thing is that you will still see me in motorsport, this is the world I always dreamed of as a child and in which I have been lucky to live until now".
