F1 | Massa: “I gave a lot to the team and to Formula 1”

The pilot of the Williams he declared that his intent is to do another season in Formula 1 but he wants the English team to give him some guidance for the future.

The Brazilian is on the waiting list along with Paul di Resta e Robert Kubica to win the seat at Williams, next to Lance stroll.

Di Resta and Kubica will test next week with the 2014 car, so the English team can have clearer ideas, although it seems they are more intent on giving Kubica a chance.

According to the Brazilian, however, the tests will not be sufficient to evaluate the drivers as they will not be using the current cars and he reiterated that he will be happy if he can stay for next season too.

“The test means nothing to me, Williams knows what I can give to the team. The cars are completely different, you can't evaluate much. I enjoyed the last few races but I don't know what will happen next year. But I intend to stay and I can do it at my best, I can give as much to the team as I always have. However, it's not me who decides, I have given a lot to the team and to Formula 1; if people are happy, I stay".

Although a date has not yet been confirmed, Massa would prefer to know about his future at his home grand prix Brazil:

“It would be nice for me and the team to know what will happen before the race in Brazil. We'll see if it's possible, let's hope so.".
