F1 | Marko: “Spielberg can host more than one race”

So far, eight events have been canceled or postponed and news of the postponement of the Canadian Grand Prix, scheduled for June, could also arrive soon. Red Bull, owner and promoter of the race to be held in July in Austria, has said it is willing to host more than one race.

“We will have to wait and see, for we are not alone in the world”, declared the consultant of the Austrian team, Helmut Marko, interviewed by “motorsport-magazin.com”.

“Even if we managed to organize ourselves, the travel restrictions in the rest of Europe which require a quarantine period to enter a country would not help us. The situation seems to be improving but at the moment no predictions can be made." 

However, the Austrian said that Spielberg's structure is so organized that he can plan an event even at the last minute:

“This is the advantage of the Red Bull Ring. It is a finished system that can be unlocked even during the night."
