The excessive marginalization of the fan, however, is a point that Liberty Media should work on: “The rules are too complicated” – said the Austrian. "Fans should be sovereign and easily understand what is happening, but this is not possible with the current engine rules".

The disappointment of Ferrari and Mercedes originating from these regulatory changes, the intent of which is to rebalance the values ​​on the field, is understandable according to Marko: “Of course I also understand Toto Wolff's point of view (Mercedes team principal, ed.): if it loses the engine, it loses most of its advantage, so he's fighting for it. How will it end? I think we will have technically simpler, less expensive engines, but noisier. We are moving in this direction.".
