F1 | Marko: “Hamilton wasn't penalized because he wore the red cap”

Red Bull consultant Helmut Marko expressed his disappointment after the last grand prix held in Monaco and, as usual, did not hold back in making barbs.

Lewis Hamilton triumphed in the Monte Carlo race, while Max Verstappen lost second place after receiving a 5-second penalty for causing a contact with Valtteri Bottas in the pit lane.

According to Marko, the stewards continue to be angry with his favorite driver:

"We were ahead of Bottas but evidently Max can't do much in the eyes of the stewards, they are not his fans...".

But Marko's criticism doesn't end there. In fact, according to him, Lewis Hamilton should have been penalised, as according to him, after the accident he moved to the left and was "pardoned", because: “he was wearing a red hat in honor of Niki Lauda and that wasn't the case”.
