F1 | Marc Gené: “Close fight also in Canada between Ferrari, Mercedes and Red Bull”

The Monte Carlo stage has been archived, the Circus will return to the track in less than two weeks for the Canadian Grand Prix.

Marc Gené, Ferrari test driver and Sky Sport F1 commentator, believes that a new challenge between the three top teams will take place on the semi-permanent track in Montreal: “Last year Ferrari won by a landslide in Monaco with both drivers. In Canada the track is totally different, with a type of track and aerodynamics not yet encountered this year", the Spaniard told the satellite television station.

"It's difficult to understand now how it will go, I expect a close fight between Ferrari, Mercedes and Red Bull like in Monaco – underlined Gené -. Hypersoft will be brought to Canada again and it will suffer even more".
