F1 | Manor, another week to save the team
The team, almost on the verge of bankruptcy, found a solution to resist until the end of January
Not all is lost at home Manor. After the negative news of the last few days, which spoke of just one week before the final failure, some glimmer of light seems to be arriving from the team's British headquarters, Banbury.
In fact, it seems that the administrators of FRP have found a way to pay the staff and avoid the full-blown bankruptcy at least until the end of January.
A little more breathing room to try to find a buyer who can save the team from withdrawing from Formula 1 and definitive closure.
“This means you have a week longer than expected to find a buyer before having to consider making staff redundant” – reads a BBC report.
While FRP has not released any official comment, Reuters has underlined that talks with interested buyers are already underway.
