F1 | Maldonado: “Will Vettel respect team orders?”

At the end of the year the four-time world champion will leave the Maranello team with a destination still unknown. However, Sebastian Vettel he still has to face a season with Ferrari and for this reason, some interesting scenarios could arise. Will he help Charles Leclerc if he is in an important position for the world championship, or will he think for himself? The former Formula 1 driver, Pastor Maldonado, put forward this question in an interview with Marca.

“Last year there were some problems between the two riders. Who guarantees that they won't come back this year if Vettel already knows where he's going? Will Vettel respect the team's orders? We do not know".

Furthermore, according to the Venezuelan, this situation could have negative effects on the team:

“It could be a big weakness for the team. It was last year. If this season resumes, it will be a difficult time for both of them. Because the announcement was made, then how are you going to run like that? And similarly, what does the team do with the driver? It's difficult, let's hope he has a better future."
