F1 | Magnussen praises Schumacher: “He has what it takes to be here”

The Danish driver, referring to his teammate, Mick Schumacher, admitted that the German deserves his place in Formula 1. After winning the Formula 2 Championship, last year the 23-year-old joined Formula 1 in the Haas team but the lack of competitiveness of the car forced him to face a difficult season and criticism from those who considered him "recommended" due to the fact that he was the son of the seven-time world champion, Michael Schumacher.

“He's obviously very talented: he won in F3, he won in F2 before F1, so I would say he deserves to be here”, is quoted by f1i.com.

“He's a super nice guy, very down to earth, very polite. He is good with everyone, everyone likes him. Immediately, he was very open, he is very eager to learn, he asks questions. And he's not always like that with certain riders, sometimes they're too proud and don't want to work together. Maybe some riders are afraid of showing weakness or whatever, but Mick doesn't really worry about that, he just wants to learn. I feel that in the debriefs his feedback is good, and he doesn't make excuses, he is very honest with the team if there is something that was due to his mistake, he is open about it, he doesn't make excuses. So I think his attitude is very good”.
