F1 | Magnussen: “Haas is much better suited to me”

It is a Kevin Magnussen what is preparing for the 2017 Formula 1 World Championship is increasingly busy. His passage into Haas gave him new stimuli and a renewed enthusiasm for racing, thanks to the profound difference between the US team and the Dane's previous teams.

“Haas is a completely different team to McLaren and Renault – he told the Danish newspaper BT – and is much more suitable for me. I've always been unlucky to race in teams that were having a bit of confusion."

“Haas has a much clearer management structure,” he continued, “Gunther Steiner controls the team and Gene Haas is the owner and they are both in Formula 1 because they love the sport and not because they want to make a lot of money.”

The difference is profound compared to Renault, especially from a promotional and "dependence on sponsors" point of view.

Given the less attention to advertising aspects, Magnussen will have more time to dedicate himself to physical preparation for the new season: "It will be necessary to be in perfect shape because there are many signs that 2017 will be the fastest in the history of F1."
