F1 | Liberty Media ready to remove ban on double liveries

Liberty Media may lift the dual livery ban in the near future. According to what was reported by Auto Motor Und Sport, in fact, Ross Brawn would like to reintroduce the possibility of fielding two cars sponsored by different partners on the track (a trend launched by Bar with the BR01.ed.), so as to increase the number of sponsorships in Formula 1.

A move that would have its own logic, especially after the recent economic crisis that hit small teams. A possibility of this type, in fact, would allow team managers to play on multiple tables, increasing the income related to sponsorships.

The Scuderie, in fact, would have the possibility of signing multiple contracts for each car, thus doubling the revenues deriving from them. A development plan similar to the one currently used in IndyCar.

The proposal would have already arrived on Chase Carey's table and there could be some news over the next few days.
