F1 | Leclerc: “One day I would like to race the 24 Hours of Le Mans”
"I'm very proud of what Ferrari did: it was crazy," he said, commenting on the success achieved yesterday by the Cavallino
Among those who were present on the La Sarthe route yesterday to pay homage to the Ferrari there was also Charles Leclerc. The Monegasque driver, involved with the Cavallino in the Formula 1 World Championship where he has worn the red suit since 2019, wanted to congratulate the team involved in the WEC which brought the name of Ferrari back to the top step of the podium in the 24 Hours of Le Mans. A competition to which Leclerc does not close the door at all, on the contrary.
Charles, chatting on the sidelines of the famous endurance race, expressed his desire to try his hand at this motoring challenge in the future.
“What if I would like to race at Le Mans one day? Why not – said Leclerc to Eurosport – One day I would like to do it. I don't know when it will be, but I'm very proud of what Ferrari did: it was crazy. It proves once again that Ferrari is unique and that we make cars like no other."
