Interviewed by Mara Sangiorgio at the end of the opening press conference of the next United States Grand Prix, the 17th round of the 2021 Formula 1 world championship, Charles Leclerc said he was optimistic in view of the appointment at the Circuit of the Americas in Austin, specifying how the technical updates presented in the last two races have allowed the SF21 to adapt to all the tracks faced to date.
An important step forward which on paper should help the drivers to battle with McLaren on equal terms, even on a track as unfavorable on paper as COTA. Leclerc, we remember, shows up in Texas after the positive test in Istanbul, where, with a less risky strategy, he could have brought the SF21 to third place.
