The FIA ​​World Council, which met yesterday in Paris during the 2019 Annual General Assembly, approved some decisions also regarding the Formula One category.

As regards the Circus, some changes are expected to the 2020 Technical and Sports Regulations, including:

– Fuel sampling will take place during individual events, to avoid the controversies that accompanied the last races of the last championship on the issue relating to the flow meter.

– The reinstatement of the checkered flag as a signal that determines the definitive end of the race.

– The teams will not be able to cover their cars during the winter tests, in order to make these events more interesting for both the press and the fans-

– Small corrections and adjustments to the articles in both regulations.

BBS has been appointed as the sole supplier of the rims starting from 2021, the year in which the new regulation approved at the end of October will come into force, following the pre-selection which took place on 5 July. Magneti Marelli will instead supply the low pressure pumps, while Bosch will take care of the high pressure ones and the pipes.
