F1 | Lance Stroll: “It's obviously not ideal for me. I would have liked to do a little more today"
The Williams driver: "You can't change the weather, it is what it is, and it was a shame for the fans who couldn't see us on the track"
“You can't change the weather, it is what it is, and it was a shame for the fans who couldn't see us on the track”, commented Lance stroll at the end of the two free practice sessions. The pilot of the Williams who, according to the classification, achieved the third fastest time in FP1, remained in the pits like everyone else for free practice two, which was canceled due to bad weather. “It's obviously not ideal, for me it was the first time here and the first time in a Formula One car in the wet, so I would have liked to do a little bit more today. The conditions weren't completely wet, so I was on intermediates, and the track was drying out, in fact it was even getting a little too dry.", continued by describing some of the sensations on the track and the weather situation.
Then the Canadian concluded: “I've only done seven laps, so there's still a lot to do. I hope there will be a lot more laps to do before qualifying, so I will have a lot more to learn. Now I'm just going to focus for tomorrow to do the best I can", he concluded, as reported by the official statements on the Williams F1 website.
