F1 | The Italian press in chorus: “Hamilton's opponents have no hope”

According to Emerson Fittipaldi, Lewis Hamilton is ever closer to the title and after the victory in France, he added: “Every victory takes him towards his sixth world title.”

“Luck can always change but based on his performances and the upcoming races, Hamilton is the driver who has the best chance of winning.”

The Italian press thinks that in the long run, this undisputed dominance of Hamilton could have negative effects on Formula 1.

“When only Hamilton is having fun, it will be the end of Formula 1, Liberty Media is watching, F1 has now become as exciting as a flock of sheep”, commented harshly on “Il corriere dello sport”.

“La Gazzetta dello Sport” is also of the same opinion:

“For the opponents, there is no hope for the title.”

And again “La Repubblica”: “Hamilton is alone out there and at the age of 34 he is always looking for new motivation, in God, in his diet and in his fashion, because nothing new happens on the track”.
