F1 | Honda will bring solutions for 2019 in the final races of the season

After three years that were disastrous to say the least with McLaren, Honda seems to have found some breathing space with Toro Rosso in 2018, so much so as to push Red Bull to have its engines supplied by the Japanese company from next season, leaving after a Renault for a decade. The Japanese manufacturer is not disappointing at all, and finally seems to have found its dimension, but next season it will have to keep alive cars that aim to be in the fight for the championship, so important steps are needed to be able to compete with Mercedes, Ferrari and Renault also at high levels. For this reason, in the remaining six races of 2018, Honda will "use" Toro Rosso to bring new and particular solutions in view of next season.

“Towards the end of the season, in view of the next championship we will have the opportunity to try something new on the track – said Masashi Yamamoto, head of Honda Motorsport ad Motorsport. We want to do this type of testing, to also see if we can correct any errors by taking advantage of this opportunity in the second part of the season. We have changed our organization this year and revised the management structure. There are two main buildings: we have strengthened all functions of Tanabe and Asaki. We are much fitter than before."
