F1 | Haas and Guenther Steiner are ready for their home Grand Prix

Guenther Steiner, team principal of Haas, is preparing for the home Grand Prix for the team he manages and owns Gene Haas.

The American entrepreneur will see both his team racing on the same day formula 1, be that of Nascar, right in Texas. And that's why the two Haas teams will join forces on Thursday at the COTA, Where Romain Grosjean e Kevin Magnussen they will try, under the guidance and wise advice of Tony Stewart a Ford Mustang.

"I'm sure the kids will love it, as will Tony - he loves doing these things – Steiner said about it – for Tony to be back in a big car, on a big circuit, it will be nice. I'm sure our drivers will have fun. Kevin tried a sprint car last year and loved it. NASCAR cars are large, powerful machines. The audience will have fun".

With the acquisition of the rights to Formula 1 by Liberty Media, the sport has become increasingly "Americanized" and the numbers prove it.

"I think Formula 1 has made good progress in recent years in the United States. Spectators have increased and the United States Grand Prix in Austin is almost always sold out. I think progress is being made. It's difficult, as the sporting landscape is very crowded, but the audience is increasing. The Circuit of the Americas certainly helped achieve this, and so did the Haas F1 Team, thanks to Gene Haas investing in the team, we also helped make it the most popular sport in the United States. I'm sure it can only improve” added Steiner. Furthermore, the possibility of a second Grand Prix in the USA will only help the American cause.

"Another American circuit on the calendar will certainly contribute to the feat. For us at  Haas F1 Team is just a plus. More than for us, it's good for Formula 1 in general. I think F1 already has a pretty big following in Miami. And then, a circuit near a large and beautiful city can only please all of us in the Paddock. Let's hope the idea comes to fruition".
