F1 | Formula 1 renews and expands its partnership with DHL

A few days before the start of the 2018 World Championship, Formula 1 has announced the extension of its partnership with DHL, a transport company that offers international transport of goods and logistics contracts. The German company will remain the logistics partner of Formula 1 and will also be the first official partner of the series F1 eSports, the virtual Circus championship. The collaboration, born in 2004, also includes joint promotional initiatives.

“As a logistics partner, DHL is responsible for the complex shipping of Formula 1 vehicles and equipment. The brand is therefore an integral component of this highly emotional sports and entertainment experience with a global reach” - he has declared Arjan Sissing, Head of Corporate Brand Marketing at Deutsche Post DHL Group. “As the first official partner of the F1 eSports series, we are very happy to accompany Formula 1 on its digital journey and actively contribute to the expansion and excitement of the product range for fans”.

Sean Braches, commercial director of Formula 1, added: “I am pleased to have renewed and strengthened our long-term commitment with DHL, the official logistics partner of Formula 1. Our sport is very fast: precision and punctuality are the ingredients. These attributes are also central to DHL and this is a guarantee for the continued success of this relationship”.
