F1 | Ferrari remembers Juan Manuel Fangio
The Cavallino team paid homage to the Argentine ace on the day of his birth

On social media the Ferrari recalled Juan Manuel Fangio on the day of birth. The Argentine ace was in fact born in Balcarce on 24 June 1991, dying in Buenos Aires on 17 July 1995.
Fangio raced with the Cavallino team in the 1956 season, becoming world champion for the fourth time in his career. Title arrived at the end of the Italian Grand Prix, thanks to the altruism of Peter Collins who gave up his car to his teammate even though he had a real chance of winning the championship.
For over four decades Fangio was, with his five titles, the most world-beating driver in the history of Formula One, only to be surpassed by Michael Schumacher and joined last year by Lewis Hamilton.
