F1 | Kubica does not rule out a return to rallying

As reported by the Polish newspaper Przeglad Sportowy, Robert Kubica could consider a full-time return to the world rally championship for 2021.

The Pole admitted to having received an offer to participate in the ACI Rally Monza  but he had to refuse as the event coincides with his commitment as Alfa Romeo reserve driver for the Bahrain GP in December.

“I have a lot of respect for this discipline, you have to do everything the right way and I know how much commitment and energy it takes.”

The source also reports that the sponsor Orlen could finance a return to rallying for Kubica:

“The talks are at a good stage – revealed a correspondent – cWe have already had meetings with Hyundai and we have heard that both parties are close to an agreement.".

Kubica admitted that he will have to decide soon what he wants to do in the future:

“The next few weeks will be very important for me in the context of my future and what I would like to do next. I have my preferences and priorities, but we'll see what's possible. When I find out, I will make a decision."
