F1 | Jos Verstappen: “Max can win anywhere”

Jos Verstappen is confident that his son Max has a car that allows him to win every race in the world championship. In fact, the Dutchman dominated over the weekend in Bahrain and did not get the victory only because he had to give up the position to Lewis Hamilton, due to the track limits at turn 4.

Interviewed by Ziggo Sport, Jos Verstappen stated that it was obvious that Red Bull had a car to win in Bahrain:

“We all saw it. Mercedes made a good strategy, but the good thing about this year is that we know that we will compete for the win again at the next race. And we haven't had that in previous years."

However, Mercedes managed to recover the deficit seen in the pre-season tests and obviously the current world champions will not be caught unprepared:

“But we're not asleep either, we're awake. I know what's coming and we're ready so it's going to be very exciting.", concluded the former Formula 1 driver.
