F1 | Jos Verstappen: “Red Bull has better strategies than Ferrari”

Jos Verstappen commented on his son Max's recent victory in Hungary, also due to an impeccable strategy from the Red Bull wall. Verstappen climbed from tenth to first in Budapest, starting on the soft tires and then doing two stints on the mediums.

In the recent past the former Benetton and Arrows driver had criticized Milton Keynes' strategic choices, while this time he had to admit their goodness.

“The decisions made by Red Bull are not always good - the words of Jos Verstappen to Motorsport.com - But they are still better than those of Ferrari, which is also why Max has an 80 point lead in the championship. The race strategy was excellent, he started with the right tires and stopped at the right time. He overtook many cars with ease, as always. I think Red Bull was very fast on race pace, I'm proud of him."
