F1 | Jan Lammers reassures Dutch fans: "Zandvoort will host the Dutch Grand Prix"
“There has been a lot of hype, but the Grand Prix will take place as normal,” said Lammers
Despite the many rumors that have circulated in recent weeks, Zandvoort will host the next Dutch Grand Prix, the fourth round of the 2020 Formula 1 world championship. According to what was declared by Jan Lammers, CEO of the Dutch round, the state of the works is respecting the timetable traced at the beginning of last month, an aspect that does not put the holding of the Grand Prix scheduled for May in serious doubt.
“The last layer of asphalt will be laid at the end of January,” said Jan Lammers. “Everything is going well, even if we were lucky with the weather. There has been a lot of hype in recent weeks, but there is no doubt that Zandvoort will host the Grand Prix. It will be a great event. As regards the future, however, we will evaluate what to improve in view of the round scheduled for 2021".
