Through an official press release published on the Autodromo website, Formula Imola confirmed the appointment of Peter Welcome as “General Director ofAutodromo Internazionale Enzo and Dino Ferrari".

After a careful analysis conducted in recent days, the Shareholders' Assembly has chosen to approve the figure of the former Director ofMonza racetrack, who resigned from the latter position last July 30th. For Welcome this is an important return to "Santerno", given that he held this same role from 2012 to 2015.

This is the official press release: "Formula Imola announces that the Company has taken steps today to inform Dr. Peter Welcome of his choice as future General Director ofEnzo e Dino Ferrari International Autodrome in Imola. The selection procedure involved the establishment of a Commission, responsible for verifying the existence of the requirements required for the role of General Director.

Made up of three members (Lawyer Carlo Giulio Casadio, Professor Giuseppe Torluccio and Engineer Gabriele Tredozi), it analyzed with skill and great attention the CVs contained in the six envelopes, one of which from Spain, which arrived at Formula Imola via certified e-mail or registered mail.

Once the analysis was completed, he forwarded it to the president of Formula Imola its conclusions which highlighted compliance with the requirements of the public notice in three aspects. The Board of Directors of Formula Imola, after careful analysis, unanimously indicated in the person of Peter Welcome the figure of General Manager, a proposal that was approved by the Shareholders' Meeting of Formula Imola. In the next few days the parties will meet to define the terms of the relationship."
