Speaking on Sky Sport 24 during the morning, Angelo Sticchi Damiani commented on the entry ofImola racetrack within the 2021 calendar of formula 1, highlighting how this "return" is the result of joint work between theAutomobile Club of Italy, Formula Imola, Liberty Medium and the Region Emilia Romagna.

Thanks to the common commitment between all these parties involved, the Emilian circuit has managed to carve out a place for itself within the next championship, effectively exploiting the "holes" left empty by Australian Grand Prix, which was postponed to November 21, and that of China, with the latter having not yet found a place within the championship.

Important news, already anticipated by several insiders in recent days, which allows theItaly to host two world events. And this for the second consecutive year.

"Imola again in 2021. We know the beautiful and great history it has Imola with its 20 years of Grand Prix in formula 1. This return is auspicious, ACI, Federation and the undersigned did everything possible to make this happen,” declared the President of ACI. “My compliments go to President Bonaccini, to the President of the Conami, to the Mayor of Imola and congratulations to the Councilor Corsini who wanted all this to happen. Things don't happen by chance. Such an important event that significantly involves all institutional bodies, the Region, the Municipality and the Autodrome".

“It is the result of a great effort and a lot of will”, he added. “I am truly satisfied as an Italian and a great fan of this Grand Prix. In addition to the current pandemic situation I hope that Imola can become and return to the second Italian Grand Prix. I wish everyone good luck confirming that ACI it will always be there".
