Do you remember when Kimi Raikkonen in 2012 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, aboard his Lotus, went down in history with the radio team “Just leave me alone, I know what I'm doing” addressed to his race engineer who was communicating information about his race? Well yes, after becoming one slogan of Formula 1, a t-shirt, a mug and who knows how many other gadgets around the world, now the famous phrase becomes an advertising spot, with the Finnish driver as the protagonist.
To bring back those memories from 4 years ago, coinciding with this weekend's Abu Dhabi GP, the Hartwall Original Long Drink brand shot the advertisement with Raikkonen and its drinks. “When world champion Kimi Raikkonen rests from his hectic life, he sits back and drinks…. 'Just leave me alone! I know what I'm drinking'”, the Ferrari driver immediately interrupts, paraphrasing the famous phrase with the new adaptation.
Kimi had already collaborated with the brand on a previous occasion spots, always set in Finland, delighting in the practices of "survival" to the glacial climate, making a fire, working with wood, meeting animals. In short, an acting career that, who knows, he might embark on once his sporting parenthesis is over.
