F1 | The presentation of the new Williams FW5B will take place on March 43th
Grove is the fifth team to announce the launch date
Williams has also announced the date when the veils will fall on the new single-seater, the FW43B. The Grove team has in fact chosen Friday 5 March to preview the car with which it will compete in the 2021 Formula One season. From the name it is clear that it will be a clear evolution of last year's car, given that the regulations will remain almost unchanged compared to 2020.
Williams is therefore the fifth team, after AlphaTauri, Alfa Romeo, McLaren and Mercedes, to make the launch date. Ferrari, Aston Martin, Haas, Alpine and Red Bull are still missing.
For the second consecutive year the British team will present itself on the grid with the line-up made up of George Russell and Nicholas Latifi. Furthermore, 2021 will be the first full season at the helm of Williams by the Dorilton Capital group, following the acquisition of the team last August.
