Nico Hulkenberg was forced to leave Formula 1 after a 10-year career, having failed to find a seat following the hiring of Esteban Ocon at Renault. Despite this, he has no remorse towards his former team, to whom he wishes a profitable season.
“Obviously they still have a big challenge ahead of them. A lot of things will change in 2021 and this year they want to improve and make steps forward on the grid. 2019 wasn't a setback but it wasn't the year we wanted, so now they have that challenge in mind. It will be interesting and I wish him all the best and good luck."
The German has not yet clarified where we will see him involved this season and his return to Formula 1 in 2021 cannot be ruled out.
