F1 | Horner: “Max needs to stop making mistakes”

After the accident that cost the Dutch driver his qualification, the team principal of Red Bull he declared that these mistakes should no longer be made.

Max Verstappen had the accident in the final stages of the third free practice session and despite the team's attempts to repair the RB14, an oil leak in the gearbox did not allow the driver to return to the track and tomorrow he will be forced to start from the rear.

“We have a great car and an extraordinarily fast driver who would have been able to compete for pole position today. For the entire team, having only had one car available was frustrating.".

Speaking about Verstappen he added: “He is in a car that is capable of winning this grand prix and this will hurt him even more because you don't have much chance of winning here in Monaco. He needs to learn from this and stop making these mistakes. She knows this more than anyone and I imagine it will have been even harder for him to accept, knowing what she could have given.".
