F1 | Helmut Marko: “Vettel would do a great job as a manager”

Sebastian Vettel participated in the Race Of Champions in Sweden with Mick Schumacher in the Germany team. The former pilot of Ferrari he said enough to formula 1, wants to spend more time with his family and dedicate himself to other things for the moment, but for a few weeks now he has been considering his possible return as a manager, perhaps in the family Red Bull. Helmut Marko, advisor to the Milton Keynes team he had already said that his role in AlphaTauri could not be ruled out, and now, interviewed by RTL, he has given some more details on the issue, but obviously it is still an embryonic discussion.

“First of all he has to find himself and understand what exactly he wants – Marko admitted. One of the reasons that pushed him to leave Formula 1 concerns his family life, and therefore if he were to occupy a management position in the future, this role would force him to maintain the commitments of a driver, as well as travel. We know how he works, he is young, intelligent and open-minded, he would do a good job thanks to his experience."
