In recent races, Honda has developed a plan with numerous updates for the races Hot Tub e Monza, the priority however is to avoid that Stoffel vandoorne e Fernando Alonso, may incur one or more penalties on the starting grid:
“We want to minimize engine updates for the rest of the season as we would like to achieve the best possible results by the end of the championship - commented the boss Honda Yusuke Hasegawa- I prefer to get more points this year, I would like McLaren to reach the maximum".
Honda continues to work on the next update but it is not yet clear when, and if, it will be introduced:
“We still have six races, so we could use him in one of them. We will try to avoid the penalty in Suzuka, Austin could be a circuit in our favor given last year's results".
