Lewis Hamilton does not trust the performances expressed by Red Bull on the first day of free practice valid for the Austrian Grand Prix, the ninth round of the 2021 Formula 1 world championship.

Despite the top of the standings achieved at the end of FP2, the seven-time world champion believes that Red Bull has kept a gap in its "pocket" in view of qualifying and the race, an aspect that will almost certainly help Max Verstappen to return to the same levels as the Grand Prix Award staged last week.

Hamilton, we remember, ended yesterday's free practice in the lead, while the Dutchman did not go beyond third place behind Valtteri Bottas.
