F1 | Hamilton does not close at Ferrari: "It's difficult to imagine myself elsewhere, but never say never"

Interviewed by Autosprint at the end of the last Mexican Grand Prix, Lewis Hamilton did not want to close down his possible move to Ferrari in 2021, underlining how anything is possible in life, especially in a world in constant turmoil like Formula 1.

The Englishman said he was happy with his stay in Brackley, highlighting the fact that it was Mercedes that supported him for his entire career, but at the same time he clarified that the same was also true for McLaren. The arrival of a new challenge, however, pushed him to change his goals, leading him to win four more world championships.

Here are the words of Lewis Hamilton: “At the moment it's difficult to imagine myself anywhere else. Mercedes is my family, I grew up with them. The same thing was also true for McLaren, but I aimed to change to show that I could also win with another team. I knew I could do it, but I wanted to confirm it to everyone."

“At the moment I'm not thinking the same way and I have no intention of leaving the team, but in life you never say never”, he added.
