F1 | Hamilton grabs his 98th pole in Bahrain, Ferrari out of Q3

Lewis Hamilton's unstoppable march continues in this 2020 Formula 1 world championship. After the splendid victory achieved in Turkey, the Englishman achieved the 98th pole of his career on the Sakhir track, rapidly approaching a frightening 100.

The seven-time World Champion, despite some small set-up problems, managed to maximize the performance of his Mercedes W11, prevailing ahead of his teammate, Valtteri Bottas, and to rival Red Bull, Max Verstappen.

The Dutchman suffered a delay of more than four tenths and was unable to confirm the good performances shown during yesterday's and this morning's free practice. Fourth place for an excellent Alexander Albon, who did very well to make up for yesterday afternoon's heavy mistake, followed by Daniel Ricciardo, Esteban Ocon and Pierre Gasly. Important results also for Renault, expected to receive a certain type of response after yesterday's fluctuating performance.

Lando Norris and Daniil Kvyat complete the top ten lineup. Outside the ten were Sebastian Vettel and Charles Leclerc, who were unable to go beyond 11th and 12th place.
