The Haas team principal is confident ahead of the start of the new season
No sophomoric syndrome for the Haas. A few days before the start of the season in Australia the team seems much calmer and more relaxed than at the debut.
The team principal recounts these feelings Gunther steiner who, in a recent interview with Auto Motor und Sport, spoke about this important moment for his team.
“Compared to 2016 we are much calmer. A year ago we were looking for plugs to make our computers work – she joked – they warned us that the second season would be more difficult, but I think that a year ago we were definitely worse off”.
Renewed and positive feelings thanks to new Ferrari engine and performances that give great prospects for 2017: “We did all eight days of testing with one engine. The engine runs and runs and runs and really has more power."
