F1 | Haas, Steiner in Warsaw to discuss the terms of the agreement with PKN Orlen?
Buruk: "It's a moment for dialogue"
Negotiations continue between the Haas team and PKN Orlen for a possible commercial collaboration starting from the 2020 season. According to what was declared by the Polish press, in fact, Gunther Steiner would have personally gone to Warsaw to discuss the terms of the agreement, with the discussions would have satisfied both parties.
A positive negotiation that could lead to a principle of agreement as early as the next few weeks. As far as Kubica is concerned, however, the hypothesis of a role in the simulator remains standing, with the Pole who would help the US team develop the future VF20 in the factory. It remains to be seen whether the current Williams standard bearer will accept a situation of this type, especially if he were to embrace a project in the DTM.
“there isn't a day that we don't talk to Robert”, said Adam Buruk, head of communications at PKN Orlen. “We see and talk by phone. It's a situation of dialogue and we are meeting various representatives from the world of Formula 1."
