Problems with downforce for both riders

F1 | Haas, Grosjean: “We hope to improve tomorrow”

The French driver said he struggled in both sessions with the downforce; he finished 13th. Kevin Magnussen it is sixteenth.

Romain Grosjean hopes to resolve issues relating to downforce to achieve a better grid position:

“In general we always struggle on low downforce circuits and it seems we are experiencing the same problem here at Spa. We are looking for the right setup between downforce and aerodynamic drag, but we struggle. Tonight we will try to understand where we can improve, how to find the missing tenth and decide on the level of downforce. It will be difficult but we hope to have a good performance tomorrow which will allow us to take a leap forward."

Magnussen declared that he found a lot of information, useful for the rest of the weekend:

“Today we got information on many things. There's a lot to watch and analyze for tomorrow, so I'm confident. The challenge for tomorrow will be to see the downforce levels and find the right setup. It was fun to drive with the new single-seaters, there were no surprises but it was nice".
