F1 | Haas, Grosjean: “The car is very fast, I'm very happy. Driving home is special”

Haas perky and main candidate for the role of fourth force on the pitch at Le Castellet. Friday at Paul Ricard showed the home idol in particular in a good light Romain Grosjean, who settled in 6th place in both FP1 and FP2. These are the feelings of the US team drivers regarding the first two free practice sessions of the French Grand Prix.

ROMAIN GROSJEAN
FP1: 6th, 1:33.318 (+1.087) – 22 laps
FP2: 6th, 1:33.699 (+1.160) – 30 laps
“It was a very positive day. I saw a lot of French flags, it was a very special feeling driving home. The car was very fast, so I'm very happy. We had some good laps. We have some things to improve on the car, but it was a good start for the whole team. We will try to keep things as they are today. We hope to get a good result tomorrow and fight right behind the top three teams.".

KEVIN MAGNUSSEN
FP1: 10th, 1:34.108 (+1.877) – 23 laps
FP2: 9th, 1:34.457 (+1.918) – 33 laps
“Everything went well today. The car seems competitive, so we are positive, even if we have a few things to learn regarding the tyres. Getting your tires into the right window is always the main thing to focus on. This is what we will analyze during the night. The track is interesting: lots of high-speed zones and good braking areas. It's actually a pretty fun track. We'll have to wait and see how things pan out for tomorrow. The opponents improve and you never know where you are, but this weekend we want to collect some points. We therefore need a good qualification".
