The announcement appeared on the Haas driver's social media channels
Romain Grosjean launched its own eSports team, called R8G Sim Racing Team. The Haas driver did not limit himself to participating in online races, like some of his colleagues, but took a further step forward by creating his own team.
The news appeared on Grosjean's social channels, who shared a post from the official Team account on Twitter: “The launch of my eSports racing team is a source of pride: I am passionate about motorsports, innovation and new challenges to face.”

“I think the team structure we have created is unique and will help us achieve the ambitious goals we have set for ourselves. We have all seen the impressive driving talent that is emerging from the simulation. Our goal is to reward and try to develop those drivers who have the potential to actually race".
Among the partners involved: Richard Mille, GoPro and Triple A e-Sports.
