F1 | Grosjean: “With a competitive car, I would feel ready to win a World Championship”

Romain Grosjean, at the age of 31, has not yet abandoned the dream that accompanies the career of all drivers Formula 1: that is, to win a World Cup. The Frenchman, in his second year Haas, said he was convinced that he had all it takes to realize his dream, car permitting: “Obviously there are things I need to improve” – explains Grosjean. “I have to learn to deal with certain situations better when I'm frustrated. The frustration comes from the fact that I want to win: this often has repercussions on my radio teams, where I often get upset. If I drove a car capable of winning races, I wouldn't start screaming, this is precisely because I would find myself in a situation that belongs to me. With a competitive car, I would feel ready to become world champion".

“Another way to think about it would be to resign myself to not winning races, drive, earn my money and go home” – continues Grosjean. “At 31, if I thought this my career would be over. As long as I have this winning spirit, I will never be happy with finishing fourteenth and beating my teammate. Some riders are, good for them, but it will never be like that for me.".
