F1 | Monza Grand Prix, PL2: Hamilton and Bottas finish ahead of everyone
Ninth time for Leclerc, twelfth Vettel
The first day of free practice for the Monza Grand Prix, the eighth round of the 2020 Formula 1 season, has just ended. In the second free practice session, the fastest of all was Lewis Hamilton, who set the best time in 1:20.192. Second position for the other Mercedes standard bearer, Valtteri Bottas, who preceded Lando Norris' McLaren.
Good performance by Pierre Gasly with Alpha Tauri, fourth ahead of Max Verstappen's Red Bull.
Sixth time for Carlos Sainz, followed by Daniil Kvyat. Lance Stroll's Racing Point was eighth, ahead of Charles Leclerc's Ferrari (1,3 seconds behind).
Sergio Perez's other Racing Point closes the top 10.
Sebastian Vettel set the twelfth fastest time. Both Ferrari drivers were involved in an error at Lesmo 1.
