F1 | Saudi Arabian Grand Prix: Verstappen confirms himself, Ferrari uphill
Second position for Alonso, Leclerc and Sainz close the TOP 10
The second free practice session of the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix has come to an end. Under the spotlights of the Jeddah circuit, Max Verstappen once again confirmed himself as he dominated the entire session, recording his best time in 1:29.603.
Following the two-time world champion, Fernando Alonso surprises again with his Aston Martin, two tenths behind. The Asturian preceded the other Red Bull of Sergio Perez.
Fourth position for Esteban Ocon's Alpine, followed by George Russell's Mercedes and the other Pierre Gasly's Alpine.
Lance Stroll's Aston Martin occupies seventh position, followed by Nico Hulkenberg with Haas.
Closing out the TOP 10 of the times, we find the Ferraris of Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz. The Maranello team did not perform very well in the flying lap but worked towards qualifying which will take place tomorrow at 18pm.
Seven-time world champion Lewis Hamilton was only eleventh, with a gap of almost a second from Verstappen's Red Bull.
