Another close fight for the qualification al Chinese Grand Prix tomorrow: at the end of the session Sebastian Vettel he has the second fastest time with 1'31”864, 186 thousandths from pole Lewis Hamilton. Second row Kimi Raikkonen with the fourth best time in 1'32”140. The two SF70Hs emerged easily from Q1 using only Soft tyres, before switching to Supersoft in the second and third stages. Qualifying took place in variable conditions, with strong winds but no rain. Which instead is still scheduled for tomorrow's race.
