With a post published on their social channels, Liberty Media and Formula 1 revealed the most important features of the new Hanoi facility, theater of the future Vietnam Grand Prix.

The route, unveiled yesterday, winds inside the Vietnamese capital, precisely in the areas surrounding the stadium, and is 5.565 meters long. It should be noted that the layout studied by the organizers is a mix of some historical corners of the calendar, including the Ss present in Suzuka, Turn 3 in Sochi and the hairpin present in Shanghai.

Furthermore, the long straights in the second sector will allow the cars to reach speeds close to 340 km/h (an aspect which could favor overtaking. Ed.). The race, we remember, will be included in the calendar starting from the 2020 season and the Circus will leave for Vietnam in April.
