F1 | US GP, Williams in points with Felipe Massa

Williams closed the United States Grand Prix, held on the Austin track in Texas, scoring points with only Felipe Massa. The Brazilian in fact obtained ninth place, while Lance Stroll – who started 15th and was penalized by three positions for having obstructed Romain Grosjean's Hass in qualifying – finished eleventh.

"It was definitely a good result – underlined Massa – It was a good race, points are the result we always want to achieve. We lost some points on Renault, but it was a positive race and I'm happy with the result. Unfortunately the blue flag took away the opportunity to overtake another car and the possibility of moving up to eighth place. However, I am happy with the work and the result obtained. This is the most important thing".

"I had a good race considering where I started from, but it's always disappointing to finish without points – declared Stroll – I had problems with the tires and had to stop twice due to degradation. We gained some positions, unfortunately not enough to get to the points. I positively evaluate the final overtaking on Grosjean and Vandoorne. Now I'm focusing on the next trip, I hope for a problem-free weekend".
