Speaking on Sky Sport 24 yesterday evening, Mara Sangiorgio took stock of the situation at the end of free practice on the Hungaroring track, theater of the next Hungarian Grand Prix, underlining how Red Bull and Mercedes showed an excellent pace during the first three hours of work in Budapest.

As expected, in fact, Max Verstappen and Pierre Gasly managed to exploit the enormous potential of the RB15, proving fast and concrete in all racing conditions. An interesting situation that will certainly have to push Ferrari to improve, given the difficulties faced by Sebastian Vettel and Charles Leclerc yesterday.

Both, we remember, were unable to find the right window for using the tyres, an aspect which significantly penalized the performance on the track. As regards Mercedes, however, the satisfaction of Lewis Hamilton must be underlined, who collected various useful data, promoting the balance of the W10 without any major doubts.

Different story however for Valtteri Bottas, given that the latter completed only five laps between the morning and the afternoon. Each evaluation will therefore be postponed until the end of FP3 which will start in twenty minutes.
