F1 | Spanish GP, Tsunoda: “I like the Barcelona track”

After the placings outside the points in Imola and Portimao, Yuki Tsunoda is ready for redemption in the next Spanish Grand Prix, the fourth round of the 2021 Formula 1 world championship. The Japanese, after some heavy missed passes, intends to fight steadily for the overall placings inside the top 10, so as to give important points to the team for the fight for third place in the constructors' championship.

“After Portugal, the next stop is Spain”, said the Japanese pilot. “In Formula 2 last year, I finished fourth in both races. On the Barcelona track, tire management is one of the most important factors, even in qualifying. If you mistreat the tires in the first sector, you find yourself in the third with no more tires and not being able to set a good lap time."

“I like this track, I can't wait to race there for the first time in a Formula 1 car. I know it well, so I'm pretty confident I can be fast from the first free practice sessions,” he concluded.
